What: The conversation begins in a tavern where Achaius is struggling to care for his infant son, Nauthis. He is approached by Darya, a free woman who expresses her disgust at seeing a baby in a tavern. Nephtides, a warrior, defends Achaius, and the two begin to have a conversation. Achaius tells Nephtides that he is a new father and that the mother of the child, a woman from Turmus, was recently collared. He is trying to raise the child alone but is having trouble, and is considering renting a slave to nurse him.
Nephtides offers advice and expresses concern that the child is not receiving mother's milk, which he believes is causing the child to become thin and weak. He offers to help Achaius find a physician or a lactating woman to help nurse the child. Ganima, Nephtides's slave, attempts to find the "verr milk and soy" that Achaius asked for, but is unable to, expressing doubt that it's a real drink.

Darya Demure: She needs to find some sense to be found in her path some day.. clearly, none of her have any. She also needs to not start cursing about this obnoxious behavior, as she is in a public place.
Amyr The Gorzilla: He needs to wake up and take his horn of ale. He also needs to be a better role model for his slaves, as they are being rude to other people.

[17:20] Find Out In RP (wickedworkofheart): "I've a small problem," he said, rubbing an open palm over the infant's back. For the moment, the child was sleeping thank the Kings. There were dark circles under his eyes, normally quite cordial, his temper was just a tad bit on edge. Probably likely due to the lack of sleep the last two days. He sighed hearing the woman's comment. She was well meaning of course, he realized that, but he was not about to hand over his son to a stranger. "I appreciate the offer Lady. Truly I do, but he sleeps, and even if he wakes, I assure you, a boy his age won't have the faintest idea of or remember anything he sees to be traumatized by it. Besides, there is little difference whether he sees a slave in all her glory here, or at a kennel, right?" He'd try that whole logical approach, half expecting her to fly into hysterics and run to fetch the city guard on him. He'd then look back toward Amyr.

She hit a cement bench, causing a head injury and dislocating her shoulder.
Her memory becomes fuzzy, but she recalls being dragged, taken to a bridge, then a wooden walkway in the Cove, and eventually waking in a cage.
Lady Muse was in a nearby cage.
She overheard "warriors were coming," waited, then screamed for help, eventually waking in the infirmary.
Investigation and Identification:
Jon asks if demands were made; Kati reiterates Amyr's focus on "taxes."
Talon asks if Kati saw the face of the other man who took her, suggesting a drawing.
