He strode with purpose, broad shoulders rolling under weathered cloak he wore, the day's tasks pulling him like a chain toward the open square beyond the gates. A meeting long overdue, with the city's commander.
"Tal," he said, with a fierce smile. Then his eyes flicked to the shadow behind, greeting the Lady Kati with a nod before returning his attention to the Commander. "Ah, finally we meet. I am Jon of Treve and in the service of the protector of the Ubarate, as per my contract." he introduced himself, as well as clearing up his purpose here.
