Captured

The scene opens with Amyr the Gorzilla, a berserker, leading a charge against Teletus guards. He quickly dispatches two guards, throwing one "up and over" a railing and stunning another who also falls. Muse Steele, the Ubara, initially tries to de-escalate, but her attempts are futile. Kati Evans, a scribe and Muse's counsel, bravely steps between Amyr and Muse to protect her.

Crassus Tace, a mercenary (and self-proclaimed "offender of companions"), arrives, initially mistaken as an ally, and attacks a Tharlarion, then briefly engages Amyr before realizing Amyr's target and then quickly leaving. He seems more interested in Tharlarion meat and making sarcastic remarks than truly intervening.

Amyr, claiming Muse's husband, the Ubar, interfered with his "coin flow" (taxes), proceeds to incapacitate and bind both Kati and Muse. Kati is knocked unconscious by Amyr's hammer, and Muse is also subdued and bound. Skyrn, Amyr's slave, assists in securing Kati and collecting some stolen coin from her. Lacey, another slave, observes the chaos, mostly oblivious and distracted by eating bugs and shiny rocks, making naive and occasionally inappropriate comments about "games" the Free are playing and the treatment of slaves.

Amyr then takes Muse and Kati to a "cove" and cages them. Muse, terrified of blindfolds due to past trauma, becomes hysterical when Amyr threatens to use one. Amyr, despite this, proceeds to blindfold Kati (who is still unconscious) and later injects both women with sedatives/anti-inflammatory medicine.

Later, Gwazi Baraku arrives and questions Amyr's plan. Amyr explains his intention to hold Muse and Kati as prisoners to negotiate with the Ubar, proposing a ruse that they were taken to Turmus to incite conflict, which he believes would benefit him. Muse, despite her captivity, attempts to reason with Amyr, pointing out the practical difficulties of conflict with Turmus due to resource scarcity.

Kati eventually regains partial consciousness and, disoriented, screams for help, fearing their captors' return. Muse, still groggy from the sedative, admonishes her for potentially worsening their situation by attracting real warriors who might sell them into deeper slavery.

The scene ends with Amyr reiterating his terms for negotiation, stating he needs to rest from "wrestling guards and carrying mouthy women," and leaving the two women in their cages, with Skyrn promising blankets and food. Lacey continues to be playfully oblivious outside the room, attempting to talk to Skyrn about her "cruncher bugs" and a "shiny rock" she found.

[13:52] Amyr The Gorzilla (amirmahalah) saw the men arrive and said "Lads, lads, calm yourselves, we don't want to lose any more toes here, she will be completely safe-ish, I promise she will survive," he paused with a grin.

His hammer was a weapon made to combat many foes, reducing shields to splinters, and tenderize skulls.

"So who wants to go over the railing first?" the berserker asked, bloodthirsty.

[13:55] lacey (snuggles.easterwood): "ooooooOOOOooooo" leaned forward as she spotted a cruncher bug. finished eating the flower as she reached out picking up the cruncher bug she woudl offer it to the girl she noticed beside her. If she did not take chaos would plop it into her mouth and crunch it up, as her master was not there ot say Stop eating bugs. she liked bugs she ate lots of them in the forest before she came to live with her master. returns to picking certain flowers only to pop them in her mouth and eat them chewing slowly to savior the flavor. chaos was not paying attention to the words of the Free. She knew it did not concern her and nothing would be bad but was not her nevermind as she was no longer free she belonged to sexy Master muscle man, well so she thought.

[13:56] Muse Steele (muse.triellis) turned in time to see her counsel walk into what is happening and frowned attempting to wave the woman off but it was too late.  With the guards advancing between herself and the apparent attacker she frowned.  "Sir!  Surely this is not how you want to spend your day.  There is already one imbecile in the jails, do you really want to join him?"  She asked incredulously, though there was a clear crack in her voice as she studied the scene before her and attempted to calculate whether the odds were in her favor, somehow she suspected not.

[14:00] Skyrn (geegee2016) She continued to watch and listened.  She would do whatever her Jarl would command of her but she knew in this moment he would probably not even know she was here as he was sooo focused.  She started to think if the food was done cooking at the cove and if they were going to have a guest or two for dinner.

It seemed that Lacey was already eating dinner between the flowers and the bugs.  "Ewwwww"  She said and then looked back to the unfolding scene.

He stomped the ground as if he was going to charge, the one with the sword flinched dramatically, but didn't drop his weapon, the other lunged the spear, which the much-more battle hardened berserker took advantage after deflecting, he mocked with a swing and trow of the man like some ragdoll "UP AND OVEEEER!" and there he went, -"AAAAGH!!!!"

The poor guard crashed back wounded, tripping over the railing screaming "You idioooooooooot!" CRASH!
