Transitions, Resilience, and Health

Journal Entry: April 6, 2026 Location: Port Talis / Ironheart Mood/Title: Transitions, Resilience, and Health

Today was a day of settling in and reflecting on the recent move. It feels strange to be in a new environment, yet there is a distinct sense of relief in leaving behind the administrative dysfunction of Ar's Station. I spent time getting oriented in Port Talis, and it is a comfort to have Abraham and Finn nearby—their presence provides a sense of continuity and stability that I have sorely missed.

We spent a good portion of the day discussing the logistics of moving in and settling into the new property. It is a relief to be in a place where the leadership appears engaged and responsive, a sharp contrast to my recent experiences. I have been feeling the weight of the last few days, both physically and emotionally, and I am preparing for my first appointment with a cardiologist this coming Thursday. It is a source of anxiety, but I am hopeful that having clear answers will allow me to focus on my health and find the "quiet and supportive" environment I have been seeking.

I enjoyed a heartfelt conversation with Finn today. We reminisced about our time in Teletus, and while the nostalgia was bittersweet, it reminded me of the value of genuine camaraderie. I am grateful for the friends who have remained steadfast through all these transitions.

To Do:

  • Prepare for the cardiologist appointment on Thursday; gather any necessary medical notes.

  • Continue refining the "Station Academy" documentation for our new location.

  • Prioritize rest and recuperation ahead of the medical appointment.

  • Keep the begonias in a stable, protected spot as I finalize my own settling-in process.
