Journal Entry: 2026/05/01 Location: Lara II / Olni Mood/Title: Transition and New Beginnings
Today has been one of movement and preparation. I am officially applying for residency in Olni, and though the process has had its small hitches—including a rather abrupt crash and a bit of trouble finding my way—it is an exciting step. The area is beautiful, and I spent a good portion of the day touring potential spaces and getting a feel for the layout with Aldae and Myriam. I found a lovely room at the inn that I am already quite fond of, and the prospects for our new school project are looking brighter by the hour.
Aldae and I are truly moving forward with the vision for the "Magisterium of Gorean Knowledges." We spent time looking at architectural layouts, settling on the idea of a central, grand structure—or perhaps multiple towers—that will serve as our seat of learning. Myriam has been an invaluable ally in these logistics, and it feels as though we are finally building something tangible rather than just debating it.
On a more personal note, my interactions with the locals here have been warm. I helped Aisha, who seems like a bright and dedicated young woman, and I even had the pleasure of touring the "Unfettered Quill" headquarters with Panner McDonnell. It is a wonderfully cozy space that gives me hope that our own project can find that same sense of history and community. I am tired, but it is the good kind of tired—the kind that comes from finally seeing a vision take shape.

Follow up on the Olni residency application and touch base with Jarek regarding potential housing.
Coordinate with Aldae to draft the official proposal for the University of Gorean Knowledges.
Continue organizing the curriculum materials and identifying key classes to launch first.
Connect with the local contacts Myriam and Aldae suggested to help grow our support base.
