Resignation Letter from Teletus

 To Teletus,

Please accept this letter as my formal resignation and permanent departure from my service to the city, effective immediately.

This decision has not been made lightly, but the current working conditions have become untenable. For a significant duration, I have dedicated between five to sixteen hours a day to the operations and well-being of this city. I have sacrificed my time, energy, and peace of mind in an effort to ensure stability and success here.

However, hard work requires respect, and that is something I no longer receive. I refuse to continue serving in an environment where I am subjected to private bullying and verbal abuse by the Ubara. To be yelled at behind closed doors and told that my exhaustion is "not enough"—while my counsel, thoughts, and opinions are consistently rendered meaningless—is a disparagement I will no longer tolerate.

I have proven my loyalty through my labor, but I cannot remain where my voice counts for nothing and my dignity is constantly under attack.

I wish the city luck; it will need it.

Sincerely,

Kati Evans

Past AHOC and Magistrate of Teletus
