Journal Entry: March 29, 2026 Location: Ironheart Mood/Title: Community and Preparation
Today has been a quieter, more reflective day of connection and preparation. The atmosphere felt heavy at times, as some of our friends have been working through emotional challenges, and I’ve spent time standing with them—offering presence and support. It is a reminder that the bonds we form here extend beyond our roles and duties; sometimes, peace and strength are found simply in shared presence.
I’ve spent the latter part of the day preparing for the upcoming academic week. The Station Academy schedule is set for the "Great Siege" and "Roles of Men and Women" series. I took a moment to post a reminder on the message board for the students to keep an eye out for updated forms and information, as I am currently finalizing those resources to ensure our materials are as accurate and useful as possible.
The library and Academy files are coming together nicely, and I feel better prepared for the week ahead, despite the emotional weight of the last few days.
To Do:
Finalize the updated forms and information packets for the Station Academy students.
Ensure all preparations are complete for the "Great Siege" lecture on Monday.
Continue to offer support to friends as needed; prioritize community care.
Check on the begonias and take a moment of quiet reflection before the week’s lectures begin.
