Journal Entry: 2026-05-04 Location: Olni/Lara II Mood/Title: A Day of Preparation and New Connections
Today was a productive mix of administrative planning and social navigation. I focused on organizing my upcoming educational commitments, ensuring the schedule for my classes at Rankin Hall—The Gates, The Market, and The Cylinder—is clearly mapped out. I also spent time setting up my living space, though I encountered some amusing frustrations with AI tools that couldn't quite grasp the age of my companions, leading to some lighthearted moments while trying to capture snapshots.
I had the pleasure of attending an Olni city meeting, which provided valuable insights into local affairs and allowed me to meet more of the community, including visitors from Venna. It was interesting to hear the discussions on Gorean honor, duty, and the nuances of training apprentices. My time with lacey also offered a nice change of pace as we explored different parts of the region together, discussing potential housing and local dynamics. Navigating the social expectations of this world continues to be a learning process, but I feel increasingly at home.
