Journal Entry: July 16, 2026
Location: Turmus & Olni
Mood/Title: Schoolhouse Prep in Turmus & Game Night in Olni
Started the morning in Turmus chatting with Lady Carola and Lady Cherry while we tried out the new benches and enjoyed blackwine. A returning warrior, Lucius Spire (Marcus), joined us for a bit to catch up on recent city developments and the upcoming Merchant Fair. Later, I met with Selia and finalized the rental for building #25 to serve as our new Educational Hall! Spent a good part of the morning decorating the space, setting up cushions, adjusting my desk, and mounting the schedule board. Kaellaed and several local slave girls—Amalia, Cheryl, Jean, and Shana—stopped in to see the new setup and help test the blackboard.
In the evening, I returned to Olni for Thursday game night with Lance, Jasa, Freya, Hawke, Liyin, and Kazi. We started off with Greedy Greedy, where Freya took the first game and Lance won the second. Afterwards, Lance gave me a full walkthrough on how to play Hand and Foot Canasta. After overcoming a few voice connection hiccups, I got the hang of the game mechanics and managed to go out a couple of times!
To Do:
Prepare for the Educational Hall Open House sessions at Turmus (#25) starting Friday, July 17th.
Continue refining the class schedule and topics for the new Turmus schoolhouse.
Practice Hand and Foot rules to be ready for next week's game night.
