APPROVED ASSASSINS

Assassins in the City of Turia must be ‘approved’
before they are allowed to hunt. You need to fulfill specific criteria before
you are considered ‘approved
1. All Black Caste/Assassins avatars MUST be 90 days or older.
2. All Black Caste/Assassins avatars MUST be human and male.
3. Black Caste/Assassins will ensure their roleplay is as BTB as possible.

BEFORE THE HUNT
========✤✤✤✤✤========
1. Before the ‘kill phase,’ Assassins must enter the City on THREE
or more separate occasions (separate days) to research their target.
2. They must have in-character knowledge of their target and have
documented roleplay of observing their mark, interacting with them,
etc. Tag reading, mini-mapping, radar, and profile information are all
invalid forms of information gathering.
3. While gathering information, Assassins may use disguises, covers, etc.,
to enter the City.
Contracts & Approval
All assassination contracts must be based entirely on IC reasons. Before beginning any hunt, the Assassin must contact the local Master Assassin via IM and provide a complete, un-redacted copy of the contract. While Assassins do not reveal their client ICly, the client information will be treated as strictly OOC and confidential. If the Master Assassin is aware of potential OOC issues surrounding the contract, they will contact the Assassin immediately. Failure to obtain approval invalidates the hunt. Your first step, should always be to meet the Master Assassin IC, kills will be invalidated if you do not complete this step.
Hunting Appearance & Disguises
Once approval is granted, the Assassin may choose to hunt in disguise or in caste black. The mark may be hidden during the hunting phase if the Assassin is disguised. Disguises must be logical, believable, and appropriate. Poor or unrealistic disguises may lead to IC consequences, which the Assassin is expected to accept.
Hunt Duration & Preparation
Death is a serious matter, even in Second Life, and every mark deserves meaningful roleplay. The Assassin must actively roleplay within the city for a minimum of three (3) real-life days, during which they must:
Interact with citizens to identify the mark IC and gather information (habits, family, guard routines, etc.)
Interact with the mark to confirm identity and observe behavior
Scout the city to plan both the kill and the escape route
Roleplay Standards
Assassins must avoid metagaming, godmodding, and misinformation. Disguises may involve deception, but not false physical impossibilities (for example, pretending to be blind is acceptable; emoting burned-out eyes is not).
Violations may invalidate the kill. If an Assassin believes they are being metagamed or godmodded against, they should contact a moderator rather than escalating the situation publicly.
The Kill
All kills must be realistic and true to the Black Caste. Gorean Assassins are professionals: they kill quickly, silently, efficiently, and leave without theatrics.
Dress During the Kill
Normally, the Assassin will don the caste colors and visible mark during the kill. In special circumstances, a kill may be carried out while still disguised, but this must be cleared ICly with the local Master Assassin beforehand. Regardless of attire, the Assassin must reveal the mark on his forehead before drawing a weapon, allowing the mark a moment to recognize their fate. Killing in disguise without valid approval may invalidate the kill.
Combat Methods
Kills may be metered, in which case the Assassin must post a detailed descriptive emote draw weapon and show the mark, prior to attacking. Other methods, such as dice or purely roleplayed kills, are allowed only by prior agreement with the mark. Assassins who do not use meters must clearly label their meter as “Non-Metered Combat” and accept the same combat treatment from city warriors.
IMPORTANT:
If a Warrior encounters the Assassin during the act of the assassination, the Warrior has full right to intervene, capture, or kill the Assassin.
Escape
After the kill or kill attempt, the Assassin must immediately flee the city and exit via the designated landing point.
Teleporting out from any other location will invalidate the kill. Being captured or killed during the escape does not invalidate a successful kill.
Validation & Logs
The Assassin must submit complete notecards of the hunt and kill to the local Master Assassin for validation.
Once validated, the contract is fulfilled. What happens to the mark afterward is no longer the Assassin’s concern.
If it becomes necessary to reveal the client’s identity to the mark, this will occur strictly OOC. Any IC retaliation against the Assassin or client is invalid unless new information is obtained through roleplay and properly logged.
Turia Rental Terms of Service
1: All tenants will respect the land impact limit of their unit at all times, no exemptions or requests will be accepted.
2: Sim staff will not make any moderations to structures or facilities, no exemptions or requests will be accepted.
3: The occupancy of a rental will require adequate community presence and activity from the player, including time spent on sim, any extended absence past 2 weeks may result in the loss of the unit and return of all items.
4: Tenants must try their best to ensure all furniture and decor fits the theme of the community and environment, even in private rooms. This also means NO BDSM torture equipment.
5: Sim staff reserve the right to return or remove any tenant rezzed item that is in violation of TOS or otherwise seen as detrimental to sim performance, quality, or theme. It will be automatically assumed the renter has acknowledged this and any complaint or debate of the issue may be regarded as disruptive behavior.
6: There will be no refunds in the event of an expulsion from property or removal of sim from moderative action.
7: Continuous dispute, conversation, or mention of requests regarding TOS will be considered disruptive and may result in moderative action.
8: Tenants will not rez any items outside of the interior of their unit. The only exemptions are shop signs which must be adequately presentable and framed, no base prims, online message boards are not allowed at private units for any reason.
9: Objects that make permanent, continuous noise or music are not allowed under any circumstance regardless if they have an on/off function.
10: For sim performance, there will be limits on the number of scripted items a tenant may have out, this is any item from furniture to decor that has any continuous or interactive performance such as animated textures, particle effects, animations, etc:
for a single free person - 6 scripted items
for two or more free persons in a unit - 4 scripted items per person (can be rezzed as a whole by one of the tenants)
for a single slave player - 3 scripted items
for a slave player in a household - 2 scripted items
11: CAUTION - We strongly advise against rezzing and decorating with gachas or no-copy items, these items will not have exemption or protection from sim moderation and can be removed without warning, subject to rule 5.
12: Continuous or severe abuse or disregard of TOS can lead to the revocation of renting rights, or stronger actions by sim staff.

### I. Supreme Authority
Warriors of Turia serve as the enforcers of law and order within the city.
Disrespect, defiance, or challenge toward authority will not be tolerated.
Such acts are punishable without debate or delay.

### II. Order Within the Walls
Peace is enforced within Turia’s walls.
Unlawful violence, brawling, or public disruption is forbidden and will be punished.
Duels, executions, or acts of sanctioned violence require **explicit approval** by authority.

### III. Free Persons
Free Men and Free Women are expected to conduct themselves with discipline, restraint, and honor befitting their status.
**Free Women**, particularly those of **High Caste**, are required to present themselves in proper and modest attire at all times.
This includes the correct wearing of **head-scarves, hijab, and veils**, in accordance with rank and regional custom.
Those found without proper coverings may be **approached and corrected by Warriors**.
A High-Caste Free Woman who neglects her required attire risks drawing **unwanted scrutiny, suspicion, or corrective attention**, and may find herself placed in **compromising or vulnerable circumstances** as consequence of her presentation.
Merchants within the city’s OOC market offer appropriate garments for those in need.
**Cultural Exceptions:**
Free Women of **Tuchuk, Northern backgrounds, or Pani origin** are exempt from veiling customs specific to their regions.
However, **all Free Women must cover their lower body** with a dress, robe, or loin covering appropriate to their culture.
Pants are not worn by Free Women.
Insolence, disorderly conduct, or public disrespect by any Free Person will not be tolerated.
Honor is demanded. Obedience is required.
**City of Turia / Plains RP – Lore & Conduct Clarification**
This is a general reminder to support consistency and immersion within the City of Turia and surrounding Plains roleplay.
While creative portrayal is encouraged, characters representing Free Women should remain aligned with established Gorean lore and the cultural expectations of the region. The Musicians Caste, while recognized, does not provide exemption from social norms or standards of modesty, nor does it grant immunity from local customs.
Portrayals that reflect overt exposure or behavior inconsistent with these expectations may disrupt immersion and lead to confusion within RP.
Players are encouraged to ensure their characters fit the tone and structure of the setting and to remain mindful of how their portrayal interacts with others in shared scenes.
If clarification is needed, we are available to assist in maintaining a cohesive and enjoyable roleplay environment for all.

### IV. Slaves
Slaves are property and possess no rights within Turia.
A slave must obey any Free Person without hesitation.
Insolence, resistance, or disobedience will be punished.
Runaways will be hunted and made examples of.
Any Free Person who aids or shelters a runaway slave will answer to the city.

### V. Weapons
Peace-strapping is enforced unless exemption is granted by rank.

The following rules exist to ensure fair, respectful, and immersive roleplay for all participants.

### I. Consent & Limits
**NO AGE PLAY.**
**NO CHILD-LOOKING AVATARS. VIOLATIONS RESULT IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL.**
All roleplay must comply with platform Terms of Service and consent requirements.
Capture, punishment, or intense roleplay requires **clear OOC consent**.
Any player may pause roleplay at any time for clarification or comfort.
Any Player may ask for a Moderator / Admin at any time for **OOC** incidents.

### Slave Player Respect & Roleplay Integrity (For Slavers & Slaves):
Players portraying slaves are roleplayers and must be treated as such. Respect their immersion and autonomy in RP. Do not impose constant control or restrict them unnecessarily (such as keeping them leashed at all times).
Slave characters are entitled to develop their own stories and engage in roleplay within the city. They are not to be forcibly removed from scenes due to a Slaver leaving the sim or logging out. Leashing or movement that disrupts active RP, causes stress, or removes a player from ongoing scenes without consent is not permitted.
Excessive control and forced, continuous training can negatively impact the player experience and may drive players to leave and seek placement elsewhere. Not all slaves are intended to be in training at all times.
New slaves should undergo a brief IC intake and be introduced to their roles and expectations. Once intake is complete, Slavers are expected to either engage them in meaningful roleplay or allow them the freedom to explore and participate in immersive RP throughout the city.
Slaves retain OOC choice regarding scripted devices. A slave may choose not to wear a scripted collar and instead wear an unscripted one. No Slaver has the right to force scripts, animations, or control systems onto a player without their consent.

### IV. Slavery Roleplay
Slavery roleplay is strictly consensual and fictional.

### V. Respect
OOC harassment, hostility, or drama will not be tolerated.

### VI. Staff Authority
Staff decisions are final.

OOC Script, HUD & Equipment Limits
By entering the City of Turia, all players agree to respect script, HUD, and complexity limits. These rules exist to protect simulator performance and are enforced.
HUD & Script Use
• RGB Mesh Body HUDs must not be worn
• Mesh genitalia must not be worn unless fully unscripted
— Exception: Scripted genitalia may be worn temporarily during consensual RP intimacy only and must be removed immediately afterward.
• Makeup, body, and adjustment HUDs may be used briefly for changes only and must be removed when finished
Modern mesh bodies do not require HUDs to remain worn for AO, head, or body function.
Weapons & Equipment by Role
Free Men
• One sword permitted
• Warriors may wear a sword and spear
• No ranged weapons required when wearing a sword
Free Women (FW)
• One (1) dagger only
• When not in use, it must be unscripted and hidden
Slaves
• No weapons permitted
• During a declared siege only: rocks or a broom set to 20% damage
• No weapons during standard roleplay
Script & Complexity Limits
• Free Women and Slaves: personal complexity must remain under 80,000
• All players: script count must remain under 80 scripts maximum
Slaves must not wear scripted wrist or ankle chains.
Enforcement
Failure to comply may result in immediate correction requests, removal from RP areas, or further staff action.
These limits are not optional.
