 Zane's Guide to Playing Rank of Caste

 A Gorean version of earth solitaire, where instead 1 player vs. another player!

 With the goal being, to get at least 20 coins in any color, to start making profitable trade in gold.

Quick-steps to play a game of RoC: 

1) Both players Grab a HUD from the side of the board (below the new round & new game buttons)

2) Add hud to worn

3) Both players, then click join  P1 &  P2 (this will then shuffle the cards to appear on your huds)

The goal to win: 

1) Aquiring a total of 20 in any color, to then reach high caste to earn gold.

2) For tournaments, it is usually the highest gold after 3 rounds, advances!

3) Play the cards from LOWEST to HIGHEST (Face cards may only be played first, NOT after a numbered card)

    [you may skip numbers as well, ie... 3, 5, 8, 9, 10]

4) The Face Cards (The cards with Goreans on them, and no numbers) - Risk vs. Reward: 

    There are three of each color.   Putting one down, doubles anything on top of it.

    Placing two face cards down on top of another, triples anything on top of it.

    Placing three face cards down on to of another, quadriples anything on top of it.

   (So as long as you can get the original total of "20", then you will profit,

    else, you will go negative by any difference, doubled, tripled, or quadripled)

Any are allowed to play and participate in this game or tournaments:

FM, FW, slaves, panthers, Taluna, She'urts, Kurr, Mamba.

As the gold coin, is fake, but the challenge and competition is as real as it gets!

Tournaments can also be one round to advance, based on the host and land or time

constraints of events, or even sometimes if there is a lot of players signed up!

Totals can be seen at the side of each color, on your side of the board,

as well you can see your opponents totals too, with a grand total changing

at the corners of the board.

This is a turned based game. 

1) You place a card down on your side, or the middle row (the discard row)

2) You then pick up a new card from the *black ROC* deck, OR you may pick up

     a card from the middle (discard row), to either delay the game or grab

     a card that you see you need!

3) The game/round ends, once all of the cards in the *black ROC* deck have been used.

    So it's generally a good idea, to start playing your high cards when 10-15 cards are left.

Tip: When looking at your cards on the hud, you're looking for what colors add up to 20 or

       what you think eventually might equal 20, bearing cards you get during the game.

       You may also click the green "sort" button, to arrange your cards, to easier

       concentrate on attaining that win of the round!

4) There is a "New Round" next round button to advance the game, as well as a "new game" to

    start a new game, which generally should only be used after 3 rounds when in a tournament.

    In normal games, it's generally better to ask if your apponent would like to play another round, or

    start a new game before clicking such. In general, it's recommended, that the loser of the round, is

    the one to click new round. This makes for less confusion during games or tournaments!

Background / History

R.O.C. ~ Rank of Caste, was created in memory and honor of lady Rockin Babbi,

a former figure of one of the oldest well known and most successful cities of Gor,

The city of Fina, with the goal to remember such goreans, once a large part of

our community, and memories live on through the joy of the game of friendly

and rivalry like competition.  As she was the  "Rock" of gor, we're glad you

can enjoy this game, and soon, more versions of it will be made to represent

even more Goreans, through the cards! Note: The next version, the people

will look even better, since I'm now working from a newer pc ; )
