Journal Entry: 2026-05-11 Location: Olni Var Mood/Title: Persistent Efforts and Future Projects
Today was defined by the ongoing process of establishing a more permanent presence here in Olni. I spent a good portion of the day managing the logistics of my living space, acquiring new decor, and refining the setup of my office—it is finally starting to feel like a proper space for the work I intend to do. There is a quiet satisfaction in these small, deliberate steps toward building a functional home, even amidst the political instability surrounding my family's standing in this city.
The conversation with Father and Izzy about our future here, and the potential of these properties, was illuminating. It is clear that we are viewed through a specific lens by the local leadership, but Father is right: we are a war clan, and we operate on our own terms. I am continuing to document and organize my materials, ensuring that my teaching curriculum and Magistrate records remain intact, regardless of where I ultimately land. I have started setting up my office as a space for both administrative duties and as a potential site for the "Circle" project. It is a slow process, but I am finding that my persistence is beginning to yield results.
To Do:
[ ] Continue organizing the office area and ensure all professional documents are securely filed and accessible.
[ ] Draft a preliminary plan for the "Gorean Cultural Center" concept to present to Father or local leaders, if the opportunity arises.
[ ] Keep a low profile and observe the city's dynamics—I refuse to be "railroaded" or pushed out without having made my own mark.
[ ] Finalize the schedule for the next series of educational sessions, ensuring the materials are prepared and ready for use.
