Today was a testament to why I remain so fiercely committed to the standards of the old ways. It has become increasingly obvious that many in this region have lost the thread of what it means to be Gorean, preferring comfort, bureaucratic "laws," and petty bans over the strength of honor and character. Watching the interactions between my father and the local leadership only confirmed my suspicion that Olni, and indeed many of these modern sims, are becoming shells of what they claim to be. They prefer to ban those they fear or disagree with rather than test their own mettle in the arena or through honest diplomacy.

Despite the frustration of dealing with people who lack basic courtesy—let alone the honor of true warriors—I found solace in the company of my own family. Izzy has been an unwavering presence, and having him at my side as we navigated the city and assessed the new "Talis" rebuild was essential. We have secured our own space, one where we can establish our own standards, far from the reach of those who would rather hide behind administrative bans than face the reality of a world built on steel. I am not disheartened by the "dumpster fires" that these people call leadership; I am simply observing. I know my value, I know the reputation of my House, and I will continue to teach the laws and the culture to those who are actually interested in learning them, regardless of what the "dignitaries" of Olni think.

• [ ] Prepare the "Basic Gorean Manners" and "Scribe/Magistrate" curriculum materials—if the city won't provide the environment for true learning, I will create it myself within our own sphere.

• [ ] Continue to mentor lacey and suri, ensuring they uphold the standards of the Silver Blades; they are the true bearers of our future.

• [ ] Keep a low profile while maintaining our presence; there is no need to engage with those who have already shown themselves to be beneath our regard.
