Mood/Title: High Spirits and Brew n Banter Storytelling

Logged on briefly early in the morning and noticed CasperLet warning us about exceeding the land impact limit at the house again. I'll need to sort through our decorative prims soon to trim the lag.

Returned in the afternoon and checked in at the Administrative cylinder, where Ana Barbosa asked if I knew when Lady Kara Mantha would be back in the city. Since I haven't heard any updates, I promised to pass along the word that Ana wants to speak with her. Layla prepared me a warm cup of blackwine with a bit of sugar and plenty of cream to settle my nerves while we talked about my recent visit to the Academy of Gor. I'm definitely interested in mentoring there, but I've decided to hold off on starting anything new until after my upcoming medical procedure this Thursday. Layla mentioned she will be offline Wednesday and Thursday for her own appointments and gently reminded me to rest up afterward.

Later, we headed over to the city gardens for Falconer's highly anticipated Brew n Banter story night. Jarek called the city meeting to order first, which turned out to be incredibly moving. He publicly established a permanent record of absolute faith in Arealius's unwavering integrity, praising his professionalism for catching and openly admitting a recent research error. Falconer, Eridain, and I all heartily agreed and added our support to the statement. Falconer also announced that the next Festival of Steel is postponed until July 11th due to the 4th of July OOC yard dance he's hosting at his lighthouse on Shores.

The meeting adjourned straight into the storytelling circle, which was an absolute riot. We took turns building a collaborative chain story around random Gorean words we were assigned. The story evolved into a hilarious tale about a new slave girl shuffling into the arena courtyard completely swarmed by squawking vulos, causing Tura to trip over her fruit basket and spill her kalana berries. Jarek added a brilliant segment about the Ubar bellowing from the city walls with his spear, furious that the birds were taking over his arena.

The highlight of the entire evening came at the very end when Falconer shared some incredible personal news with the circle: after a year of fighting Stage 4 prostate cancer, his one-year follow-up scans came back completely clear! The whole group erupted in cheers and warrior salutes across the land, joking that it must have been the power of "medicinal paga" all along. Said my goodnights around 7:10 PM and headed back to the house to turn in.

• [ ] Keep an eye out for Lady Kara Mantha to let her know Ana Barbosa is looking for her.

• [ ] Finalize the lesson layout for Tuesday's upcoming class.

• [ ] Ensure everything is quietly prepared for Thursday's medical procedure so I can take it easy afterward.

• [ ] Send the full-perm shield texture drawings over to Tura on Discord so she can work on Father's Blender 3D model.
