Mood/Title: Scribe Caste Meeting in Lara & Evening Gathering in Turmus

Traveled to the City of Lara in the morning with Layla to attend the bi-weekly Scribe Caste of Gor meeting hosted by Trygg Tyran in their grand meeting room. We discussed several key Caste updates: the venue for the upcoming 3rd Scribe Summit in September has been moved to Thunder Mountain (following the loss of Var-Kor), and we reviewed event coordination alongside William Carver’s announced Besnit Symposium.

Later in the day, I spent time in Turmus around the slaver’s house and tavern area chatting with Advocate Aries, Slaver Nicholas Eel, ThunderBolt Kanto, and several kajirae including Amalia, Sara, and Krystal. We enjoyed cold ramberry juice and ale while discussing slave house operations, training standards, and upcoming events for the Grand Merchant Fair, including the city-wide scavenger hunt and Thunder's plans for Kaissa and Zar tournaments at the tavern.

To Do:

• Finalize preparation for tomorrow's (Thursday, July 23rd) class at 4:00 PM SLT on "The Rights and Framework of Slave Discipline" at the Educational Hall.

• Help publicize the upcoming Scribe Summit at Thunder Mountain (Sept 25–27).

• Prepare materials for the upcoming Merchant Fair starting this weekend.

• 3rd Scribe Summit Venue Change:

  • Due to the fall/disappearance of Var-Kor, Marcus of Thunder Mountain offered his city as the new venue.

  • The Scribe Summit will take place at Thunder Mountain on September 25, 26, and 27, 2026.

  • Updated event posters and publicity materials created by Myriam were distributed for cities to post.

• Event Coordination & Scheduling:

  • Noted that William Carver announced the "Besnit Symposium of Scribes" for September 11–13, two weeks prior to the Scribe Summit.

  • The assembly agreed to proceed with the Summit as scheduled on September 25–27 and work on active presenter recruitment throughout August.

• Future Meetings:

  • The next SCoG meeting is scheduled for August 5, 2026 at 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM SLT in the city of Teletus.

  • Sabayna announced the Summer Zar Tournament opening in Isfahan on July 24th.
