Journal Entry: April 1, 2026 Location: Ironheart / Lara Mood/Title: Administrative Rigor and Continued Learning
The pace at the Academy remains brisk, and today was marked by significant updates to our administrative infrastructure. I have been focused on refining the "Class List" submissions and the "Calendar Submission Form," ensuring that our scheduling processes are as efficient as possible for all faculty members. It is satisfying to see the systems I have been putting in place—the new message board, the updated files, and the streamlined calendar submission process—finally becoming the standard for our day-to-day operations.
I also spent time auditing the current library and Academy archives, ensuring that all our stored notecards are correctly linked and accessible. It is a necessary task; when one manages the history and the procedures of such a house, precision is the only path forward. My focus remains on ensuring that both students and faculty have the tools they need to succeed without unnecessary delays.
I am also keeping a close watch on the upcoming academic calendar. The "War of the Thassa" series is approaching, and I want to ensure my preparations are robust, particularly as we transition from the grim study of the Siege to the naval strategies of our world.
To Do:
Finalize the welcome packet updates for new students and faculty.
Continue monitoring the "Kati's ACADEMY FILES" access to confirm all permissions are set correctly.
Prepare for the naval strategy lecture series.
Tend to the begonias; ensure the courtyard environment remains conducive to their growth as the season progresses.
